On the evening of Thursday 17th December head on over to the wonderful Geffrye Museum to enjoy atmospheric Christmas shopping at the Crafty Fox Market. The event is free entry and allows visitors to soak up the Geffrye Museum’s authentic festive feel while being introduced to a creative crop of designers and having a chance to pick out original Christmas gifts.

The Crafty Fox is London’s favourite independent market; this creative shopping institution was established in 2010 by Sinead Kohler, who works with guest curators to hand-pick the ever-changing pick of designer and makers at the markets.

For the special Geffrye Museum night edition Crafty Fox’s design-led pick of 75 brilliant designer makers will be introducing a curated selection of homewares, design gifts, prints and more, in this seriously suitable location for design-lovers.

Along with the buzz of the traders, there’ll be live DJs, mulled wine and more festive drinks and, as with all of its markets, the Crafty Fox will also be offering Londoners a chance to try out crafting themselves, with maker-led workshops including a ‘Hand Print your own Gift Wrap’ Workshop with Textile Designer Zeena Shah. For this drop in workshop session, Zeena will be on hand to show visitors how to lino print gift wrap ready – just in time to wrap up all the gifts discovered at the market.

A list of traders is available on the Crafty Fox website here.
