Papersmiths began in Bristol, selling magazines, books and basically anything to do with paper. Founders Sidonie Warren and Kyle Clarke, created the shop out of a mutual love of paper and stationary. Four years later and Papersmiths have a second store, this time located in Shoreditch’s BoxPark and the company are receiving press from the likes of Stylist, The shopkeepers, Gestalten, Cereal and Buzzfeed for their beautifully curated array of colourful, quality stationary.

This year for the London Design Festival 2017, they are taking part in the Shoreditch Design Triangle and running a series of workshops throughout the week. Go and try out modern calligraphy with À L’aise the luxury London stationery and leather good brand, learn the art of floral paper folding during a paper peony workshop with Pom Pom Factory, try Papersmiths brand new hot foil press and personalise your notebooks or join them for an evening with Semra from Mama Moon Candles.

If you can only squeeze in a short visit, the store will be open throughout the festival. With their beautiful interior, eclectic collection of products and engaging workshops, it is no surprise that they are considered to be one of the UK’s best independent stationary shops.

If you enjoy colourful stationary and signing your name with a flourish, this is the place to be from the 16th – 24th of September 2017.

All of the Papersmiths’ events during the Shoreditch Design Triangle are ticketed, so remember sign up!
