Foundland is run by Sarah and Arthur who describe their business as ‘an upmarket general store, with an international goods aisle and smutty top-shelf throw in for good measure.’ Having a background in retail, running the Monocle webshop and sourcing for major gallery shops in London, they have the inside intel on where to find the best gifts across the globe. They offer a wealth of products all of which fall into the hard-to-find, new release, limited edition categories. From traditional Japanese brooms, to brassy Italian stationary to wooden spoons hand carved in an English forest – they’ve got it.
Grove & Co was founded in Bristol by friends Tristan and Ben, who wanted to develop timeless, stylish menswear that offered an alternative to mass market premium brands. Their goal was simple: to make the best shirts you’ll ever wear and the last you’ll ever own. It’s a family affair with Tristan’s sister, Joss, as their pattern maker, and they’re proud to partner with UK based fabric merchants, suppliers and manufacturers for all their products.

Their clothing is sustainably sourced and made from 100% organic cotton, and the signature patch pockets are hand woven and hand dyed by local tribes in Sub Saharan Africa, where all profits are reinvested.
Origin’s projects are co-created and run by local communities and include:
- Providing remote sanitation in the Simien Mountains (Ethiopia)
- Launching a seamstress school to provide training opportunities for women in Bamako (Mali)
- Building an HIV specialist clinic in The Gambia
