Cubitts x Camille Walala
We’re pleased to reveal our new cleaning cloth, designed by none other than East London’s own Camille Walala.
Walalacloth will be available in store and online for the next six months, in both regular and large sizes. All proceeds from sales of the cloths going to Walala’s charity of choice, End Youth Homelessness.
A self-proclaimed ‘purveyor of positivity’, Walala is known the world over for her signature use of vibrant colours and bold, geometric patterns, inspired by the likes of the Memphis Movement and the Ndebele tribe.
If you’re a London local, you may have spotted her bright, graphic stylings splashed across buildings on Old Street, Hackney primary schools, and inflatable villas in Bishopsgate. And, if you’re not, you’re just as likely to have seen a Walala in the wild in Brooklyn, Melbourne or Mauritius.
The new case is cut from a bright ochre leather, with a contrasting soft suede lining in a deep forest green. Only twenty exist in the world, each made by hand at a leather workshop in East London.
