Bold – Family Workshop

Bold - Family Workshop

By createculture- 24th September 2017

To accompany their graphic design exhibition Bold, Indian Design Platform are hosting a family workshop. Participants will take inspiration from the principles of Indian miniature art traditions – reinterpreting these to create contemporary pieces with a focus on storytelling. The workshop is run by two Indian born artists from the Kadak Collective – Akhila Krishnan and Janine Shroff and brings together the practices of the lead artists; Janine Shroff’s work with intricate miniature worlds and Akhila Krishnan’s work with story telling and comic books/zines. The exhibition of typography, posters, films and digital media celebrating India’s vibrant visual communications scene is on display for the full duration of London Design Festival.
