Framework for Exchange

Framework for Exchange

By beckharvey- 15th September - 23rd September 2018

For the second year running Universal Design Studio and TOG are collaborating on a temporary pavilion in Shoreditch. The Framework for Exchange will encourage interaction, openness, collaboration and community.

The shared economy and in particular working spaces can provide a new generation with fertile ground for interaction by sharing spaces with other people with varying approaches and perspectives.

The concept focuses on the exchange of knowledge, skills, time and goods. We will create a framework embodied through the architecture of the space and the programming of events that will explore different forms of exchange.

Programme of Events

THOMAS DOWSE
Exchange of creativity

Illustrator-in-residence Tom Dowse will be live-sketching in the pavilion, transforming visual observations and verbal exchanges from visitors into bespoke literal and abstract illustrations, encouraging participants to reconsider how creativity can be inspired through moments of exchange.
