You are welcome to meet Reet Aus, Estonian fashion designer devoted to slow and ethical fashion and learn more about her industrial upcycling method.
Reet Aus has developed an industrial upcycling method that involves complete lifecycle analysis of the garments. The method enables to circulate the leftover materials back to production inside the same factory. Each garment in Reet Aus collection saves on average 75% water and 88% energy.
Reet Aus keeps proving that clever design can salvage mountains of unused textiles and natural resources spent to produce them!
20 September at 2 pm
We will also serve Finnish tea by Poikain Parhaat.
The meeting with Reet Aus is part of the side events during NID´s showroom dedicated to sustainable Estonian and Finnish design, bringing together more than 30 designers and artisans from the neighbouring countries. The pop-up store will open its doors at 32 Charlotte Road from 14 to 22 September as part of Shoreditch Design Triangle.
