In conversation with Paul Cocksedge: Designing for public space
An exclusive panel discussion looking at the inspiration behind this year’s landmark installation at The Space | 3FA in Finsbury Avenue Square Broadgate.
Join designer Paul Cocksedge, the vision behind the Please Be Seated installation, Arup structural engineer Alice Blair, and Deborah Saunt, architect at DSDHA. The event will form part of the special Shoreditch Design Triangle Night, with the evening continuing with drinks, nibbles and live music until 9pm.
With a depth of experience and wide-ranging backgrounds between them, the panel is set to be both insightful and colourful. We will be discussing what it means to design for public realms and how to serve the community whilst meeting a design’s quality, beauty and intellectual context.
The conversation will be hosted by renowned design writer Emma O’Kelly who has over two decades experience covering design for publications including The Financial Times, The Telegraph and Wallpaper*.

The panel discussion will take part between 6.30pm - 7.3pm
