This year AIDA have partnered with local textile artist Llinos Owen and will be showcasing a series of Owen’s unique collection of textured tapestries. Visual storytelling through a sequence of narrated, large scale rug pulled tapestries inspired by personal narratives, youth culture, mental health and relationships. Owen’s work acknowledges a tradition and craft historically dominated by women; each piece a tale of beauty and craftsmanship. Join us this September as Owen unveils her latest designs, made exclusively for SDT.
