SCP 2018 Collection

By SCP ltd- 15th September - 23rd September 2018

SCP present new designs from Philippe Malouin and Matthew Hilton. Comprising a complete upholstery collection alongside new coffee tables and a standing mirror.

Presenting the full Group upholstery collection by Phillipe Malouin, which includes the cocktail chair, sofas in two and three seat configurations and the new armchair version of the design. This collection began life in 2017 with the cocktail chair, and has now expanded into a full collection of upholstery. The design uses primary shapes in a concise way to form the base, back and seat. Each piece is handmade at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, UK. The Group design has been awarded the prestigious Design Guild Mark by The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity, which aims to drive excellence and raise the profile of British design and innovation.

Presenting the Beam and Trieste coffee tables by Matthew Hilton. Beam is a table with an angular design with a simple construction. The steel frame is mounted with two wooden beams, on which the toughened glass top is placed. This is a refined design, which effortlessly blends together steel, wood and glass. The Trieste coffee table and standing floor mirror are new pieces in the Trieste Collection, which complement the free standing library shelving units. A collection of real refinement, with good style and line, each piece features the signature faceted wooded frame detail.
