Conical carafe, bowl and glass by Laurence Brabant and Alain Villecehange.

Handmade and mouth blown glassware pieces by French designer artisan Laurence Brabant and Alain Villechange.

Useful, beautiful and thoughtful objects designed and made by our friends Laurence Brabant and Alain Villechange in their atelier in France. These selected pieces are the fruits of the creative collaboration and savoir-faire between the designer Laurence and mouthblown glass artisan Alain.
Together, they draw and make practical refined pieces to enchant our daily life. Their designs are modest, discreet and without pretension, far from the fashion fads, they are intertemporal. Through a silent observation of a day to day existence, Laurence and Alain’s pieces are revealed, the everyday life as their inspiration.

Tactile ceramics by Ikuko Iwamoto.

Tactile and sculptural ceramics by Japanese designer maker Ikuko Iwamoto made in her East London studio.

Ikuko creates hand-made porcelain sculptural tableware and decorative objects.
The microscopic world, especially its intricate patterns are the major inspiration for her work. Her pieces suggest the everyday, the ordinary, but are in fact extra-ordinary. She uses the skill of slip-casting with plaster-moulds, and later on the decorative glazes are applied. All of her pieces are produced one by one at her studio in east London.
She would like people to use them in their daily life and enjoy the tactile nature of her work.
