What Makes A Studio? Fred Baier!

Join Fred Baier and Tom Clark as they discuss what makes a studio. This series of talks sees designers and graduates discuss studio culture, collaboration, and the future of design.

Fred Baier is celebrated for 50 years of furniture design innovation and workmanship. An exponent of composition, imagery, narrative, process, structure and technology. He has studio-produced work in museums and private collections worldwide. Available through exhibition, gallery, auction, retail, outlet, and direct commissioning. He is a consultant and lecturer to architects, industry, corporations, private clients, and within education.

Tom Clark is a freelance designer working with salvaged materials, electronics and circular design practices. Recently graduated from Kingston University his work tries to subvert archetypes to create something new. His work will be on show at Heal’s Tottenham Court Road showroom as well as Biolith exhibition in Greenwich throughout the London Design Festival.
