Bespoke shoemakers Carreducker are champions of the craft of handsewn shoemaking. They make beautiful bespoke shoes and boots for private customers at their Clerkenwell workshop and see clients by appointment at their Shoreditch showroom or at Gieves & Hawkes, Savile Row and James Purdey & Sons, Mayfair, where they deliver a bespoke shoe service.
Founded in 2004, Carreducker share their skills, enthusiasm and passion with aspiring shoemakers worldwide at their workshop cum school on the Hoxton/Shoreditch/Islington borders. Their training programme has grown from one course a year to a full-blown syllabus of practical courses, classes and workshops in shoe making, leather work and footwear pattern making taught by practising industry experts.
They are the only shoemakers to be included in the permanent collection at The Design Museum, London where their film of shoemaking and display of tools and materials can be seen.
